Flying Southwest Airlines in a Pandemic | Los Angeles (LAX) to Oakland (OAK) | Trip Report

Hello Travelers, On October 18, 2021, I flew from Los Angeles to Oakland at the end of my cruise on the Grand Princess. This is my flight on Southwest Airlines. This flight was a smooth easy trip. After being dropped off at Los Angeles International Airport, I stopped at Reilley’s Irish Pub there in the terminal for a bite and to kill some time. It was a good place to camp with my electronics for a while until it was time to leave for my flight. Beverage service has been altered during the pandemic. They announce the drinks offered and their assigned number. One drink is offered and you select by numbers 1-5: 1. Coke 2. Diet Coke 3. Sprite 4. Water 5. Coffee When they come by you hold up the appropriate number of fingers to indicate your preference. Alcohol was not served on my flights. Oh, and you get a very small bag of snack mix.
