Creator's Key Takeaways

I must say I would steal this bed if I could figure out how to put it in my purse.

The breakfast was very good. I had eggs benedict and it was perfect and such a nice way to start or restart the trip anyway.

That was lovely. Um, so this morning I had breakfast in the hotel. It was part of the package that I got with the room and that was a good breakfast actually.

And then they also had a restaurant there that had live music and that was good. And I had lobster mac and cheese for dinner and that was very tasty.

YouTube Video Description

Hello Travelers, I took a cruise with Hurtigruten’s Roald Amundsen down the east coast. Before I boarded, I had one day to explore Halifax, Nova Scotia. I stayed at the Four Points Sheraton Halifax, and slept so much better than I had on the train the night before. I had breakfast (Eggs Benedict, my favorite) in the hotel’s restaurant, Latitude 44. While I had a tour booked, it didn’t leave until later, so I wandered down to the waterfront, which was just down the hill from the hotel. There I was able to do some shopping, and had Poutine for lunch from one of the food vendors. My tour was Peggy’s Cove at Sunset, through Get Your Guide. Our driver was a little later than the scheduled time, but we made it before sunset, which was the main point. Peggy’s Cove is beautiful, and I really enjoyed exploring the area around the light house. They do have a lot of signs cautioning people to stay off the black (wet) rocks because sneaker waves are a real problem there. But as long as you abide by that rule, the area is very nice. They also had a gift shop (of course) and a restaurant. I had enough time to have dinner there (and they had live music), and my mojito and lobster Mac and cheese were excellent. Back in the hotel again, time for another good night’s sleep before tomorrow’s embarkation day! Please like this video and subscribe to my channel to make sure you don’t miss future content. I have more videos for this trip, as well as future cruises booked through the rest of this year and beyond. Thanks for watching!
