Hello Travelers, I’m embarking on quite the adventure. I am on a back to back (B2B) cruise on Ruby Princess for two weeks, and then when I step off this ship, I dash to the airport and fly to Los Angeles to get onto the side to side (S2S) portion of the trip. I am embarking on Carnival Panorama for my sister’s birthday cruise. This video covers day 6 of the cruise, where we visit Ensenada, Mexico. While I have been to Ensenada many times, I had not taken the shuttle that is offered from the ship to the center of the shopping area in town. You can buy the tickets from the driver of the shuttle van. It is either a $4 round trip ticket or a $3 one-way and then you buy it again when you are ready to return. The driver will drop you off and let you know where to meet to pick up the shuttle again. It was a shared ride van that probably held around 8 people when full. We waited until other passengers came, and rode to town together. He dropped me off at Luis Silver and said the pickup was on the hour at Papas and Beer. After walking the length of the Main Street, I ended up back at Papas and Beers to have a snack and a drink. I don’t do beer, but their Pina Coladas were good. The Pina Colada and nachos were $7 and $8 respectively. I waited in front of Papas and Beers but it got too hot and I was too tired to wait longer. The driver was not on time at the top of the hour like he promised, and I decided to start walking a couple of blocks to find the taxi stand I had seen there. It was totally worth it. It cost me $5 to get back to the ship. Back on board, I attended the Captain’s Circle Party, and got the final breakdown of how many passengers we had on board. It was a total of 2,060. They forgot to announce the breakdown by loyalty level at the party, but I got it from the lady before she left the party. I also went to see the Marriage game show. It was entertaining, in that they had a hard time getting enough couples to sign up for it. The “newlywed” couple had been married 16 years! I have more videos for this cruise, as well as future cruises booked through the rest of this year and beyond. Thanks for watching!
