Hello Travelers, I am traveling solo on the lovely Ruby Princess cruise ship out of San Francisco and under the beautiful Golden Gate Bridge. Today they are making us get off the ship—how rude!! Seriously though, it is Disembarkation Day and this is what is was like getting off the ship at the Port of San Francisco. They actually had us go through Customs before picking up our checked luggage. It was very fast too. You can see in the video we all just breeze right through. Then I had a Porter help me with my luggage, which is still easier than having to manage dragging it out while trying to film. I caught a ride share from the Port—they have a special area where you wait for them, and the Port walked me right out to that place and unloaded my bags for me.
