Hello Travelers, I am on a back to back (B2B) cruise on Ruby Princess for two weeks, and then when I step off this ship, I dash to the airport and fly to Los Angeles to get onto the side to side (S2S) portion of the trip. I am embarking on Carnival Panorama for my sister’s birthday cruise. This video covers “turnaround day” where most of the passengers get off the ship and she takes on the new passengers. I am staying on for a second week in the same cabin. While I could have left the ship earlier, I decided to stay on and see the full turnaround day experience. They had us meet at 10:15 am in the Wheelhouse Bar. They checked us in by cabin, and then had us all walk off the ship at the same time. We walked in through Customs with our passports open to the picture. Then we got in line to turn around and get back on the ship. But since I wanted to go enjoy some of the Embarcadero, I inquired if I could just leave from there, and the lady who was directing us told me where to go. I spent the rest of my time in San Francisco walking along the waterfront and going into Pier 39. There are a ton of shops there, plus lots of restaurants, and of course, the sea lions. I had lunch (had to get a sourdough bread bowl filled with clam chowder—yum!). I did find some things that needed to come home with me. It is always a risk of shopping that it will turn into buying. I was back on board around 2pm. Please like this video and subscribe to my channel to make sure you don’t miss future content. I have more videos for this cruise, as well as future cruises booked through the rest of this year and beyond. Thanks for watching!
